Ennismore earns split heading into next weekend
A slow start got the team in a hole that they never got out of.

It only took 37 seconds for Ennismore to jump into the lead and never look back. With the fear of falling behind two games to none Ennismore jumped on the Capitals early and got the momentum they were hoping for. Walkerton had numerous power play opportunites to get the equalizer but just couldn't take advantage. Ennismore, surviving the penalties got an opportunity of their own at the 9:19 mark and made the most of the chance scoring the eventual game winner at  8:33 of the second. The juvies went into the flood down by two but were still determined to turn things around. They came out in the third with sustained pressure but it wasn't until 7:36 that Andrew Dentinger tipped Adam Dales's point shot and broke the goose egg. The Capitals continued their forecheck pressure and generated numerous scoring chances but just couldn't solve the Ennismore goalie again. Ennismore got an empty net goal to seal Walkerton's fate and tie the series at 1 game a piece. The juvies will now travel to Ennismore next weekend for the final three games of the series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Go Capitals Go!!
