The Walkerton Pee Wee girls have finished their first round of Lower Lakes Female Hockey League playoffs. Finishing third meant the girls had to face the sixth place Twin Centers Hericanes.
The first game was a 3-2 win in Walkerton. Scoring for the Capitals were Lily S., Nicole M. and Jasmine T. Assists went to Claire W. with two, Courtney W., Nicole M. and Thompson.
The second game was a disappointing 2-0 loss. The girls played well,but just could not put one past the Hericanes goalie.
In the deciding game, the Capitals took it to the Hericanes and came away with a 3-0 win and a series victory. Scoring for the Capitals were Jasmine T., Ashley E. and Lily S. Assists went to Ashley E., Jasmine T., Jenna H., Michelle B., Dallas F. and Krista K.
The second round will be very challenging, they will be facing the Mount Forest Rams.
