Novice Local League have busy sucessful start to playoffs
The team started strong and has continued that play through the playoffs thus far.

On February 12, the team opened their playoff run against Normanby. A team that has been the benchmark for how hard the team has worked and improved throughout the season.  The team came out strong but were defeated 3-1 with lots of pressure till Normanby scored into the empty net in the last minute.
Seven days later on Feb 19th the team hosted Wingham.  The team put up a great effort both offensively and on Defense.  rewarding Ryan F. with another shutout.
The following day the Atom Local league girls challenged the team to a friendly, and the boys were up to the task beating the older and more experienced girls 6-2.
Monday February 21 was the biggest test thus far in the playoffs as the team travelled to Ayton to play the Normanby team once more.  Even though Normanby was shorthanded because of the flu bug they put up a strong fight but our boys held there blueline to win a 5-4 nailbiter.  The team is playing a well rounded team effort and has come along way since our first practices in early October, keep up the hard work boys and we shouldn't forget Chloe and Alyssa, and success will come.
