Walkerton Collision Takes it to Mt. Forest
On Saturday November 27 the Walkerton Collision Atoms came out to win and showed Mt. Forest they meant business. With a very Walkerton controlled passing and positional game Walkerton trounced there opponents 6 to 3.
It started early in the first with Darren Rich scoring two of his three on the day assited by Jared Pletch, Ryan Goetz and Landon Moore In the second Walkerton kept on coming scoring again coming from Ethan Schmidt assisted by Mason Stroeder In the third under a bit of penalty pressure Mt. Forest scored a couple power play goals. Walkerton came stormin back with goals by Goetz and Rich completing the hat trick. Mt. Forest scored again with 8 seconds left on a rebound after a terrific break away save by Jaden Dietz. Not to be outdone Stroeder scored moments before the closing buzzer to finish them off 6-3. Not enough can be said about the team effort shown today with incredible defence and puck control demonstrated throughout the game. These boys are coming on strong
