A strong Showing for Prestige Against Durham
Wednesday evening brought the Durham Huskies to Walkerton to play the Prestige Atoms.  Although the end result was a loss for Prestige, our team came out strong and fought had till the bitter end.

Seconds into the first period, Durham Huskies made sure Prestige were on their toes and ready to play.  Within 7 seconds of the initial puck drop, Durham pounced on Prestige defense and shot their first goal past our goalie, Matthew Donnelly.  Matthew continued to play strong between the pipes, but was caught a couple of times when our defense was caught to far in the Durham end.  Walkerton Prestige jumped back into to the game closer to the end of the first period with great passing from Tyler Preistap to jacob Regier; Jacob found the open centerman Jordan Lang who drove home the only goal of the game for Prestige.

Prestige continued to press the Durham defenses with drives from Nick Fairminer and Jacob Weiler.  Our defense were busy throughout the game, chasing it out of our end and driving it to our open players.
Inspite of our hard work, great passing and shots on net we could not achieve another goal.  The end result was bitter for Prestige with a 7 to 1 loss for us.
