Legion PeeWees Tame Huskies

On Wednesday Dec. 8, the Legion PeeWee Rep Boys team played the Durham Huskies and defeated their opponents 4-3.
After spotting Durham a two goal lead, the boys scored two goals in the second period to tie the score at two all. Jordan Dahms scored both goals. Assisting on his first goal was Christopher Cormack and Kyle Vaughan. Jake Spitzig and Kyle Paulitzki assisted on his second goal. The boys scored two goals in the third period to earn the victory. Spitzig scored at 12:45 with Bailey Zettler assisting. Zettler scored the eventual game winner, with Spitzig and Michael McAskill getting the assists. Durham scored again in the third, but Walkerton held on for the win.
J.P. Kunkel was solid on defence and Calvin Wilson worked hard along the boards. Goalie Ryan Bester made timely saves to preserve the win.
