Juvy's continue strong play
With only 15 hours between games, the guys picked up right where they left off from last nights win and showed no ill effects from the quick turnaround time.
The guys came out with another strong start and pressured the Listowel defense outshooting the Cyclones 25 - 10 for the first two periods but only having a one nothing lead heading into the flood. The Cyclones came out with some early pressure in the third but between the strong goaltending of Jake Elliott and the equally strong play from the defensive core Listowel could not get the equalizer. Walkerton then rallied for three goals in less than two minutes to seal the victory and skate away with another 4 - 0 shutout. The John Ernewein juveniles next return to the ice for game three in Walkerton January 28th at 7 pm looking to secure another WOAA championship and advance to the quarter-finals of the OMHA's.
