Lang's lose on the road
Walkerton Lang’s Midget Girls travelled to Lucknow Sunday night for their first road game. It was an exhibition game that ended 2-0 in Lucknow’s favour. Walkerton’s goalie Reshay Sullivan again played strong in net to keep the girls in the game. With a few girls missing from the roster, it was necessary to change lines around but the defense of Gab Lehman, Lexie Bell, Heather Kelly, Alyson Spitsig and Ashlee Cameron did a good job of getting the puck out. Forward lines were improving at dumping the puck in the opposition net but just couldn’t break out enough to get the shots needed on net. The girls play next in another road game against Ayton on November 19.
