Larsen Bantam Girls Working Hard
The Larsen Bantam Girls are continuing their hard work and desire as they have completed another week of great hockey.  During this span they have two wins and a tie.

They started off the week with a stop in Goderich.  The game was evenly matched.  The Walkerton girls seemed to give that extra push towards the end and skated away with a 4-2 win.  Goal scorers for the game were Emalee Haight, Missy Adams and Katrina Young.  Assists went to Faith Yensen, Ashton Nixon and Jamie VanLoon.  Micaela Stutzki was strong in net.

Kincardine was the next opponent for the girls.  From the first drop of the puck, both teams were flying around the ice.  There were many scoring chances for both teams.  Kincardine started off the scoring on a power play opportunity.  The Walkerton girls never let up and were very determined to even up the score.  Finally, their efforts were rewarded by a goal by Sarah Biesenthal assisted by Destiny Berberich and Jamie VanLoon.  Great help by all the defense to support Alyssa Inglis who made many great saves in net.

Guelph ventured up to tackle the girls in the next game.  The Walkerton girls were up for the challenge.  Strong skating and crisp passes helped the girls ice the victory with a 8-2 win. Leading the way for the girls was Emalee Haight with four goals and an assist.  Missy Adams had two goals and two assists. Single goals went to Faith Yensen and Katrina Young.  Assits went to Jamie VanLoon, Ashton Nixon, Destiny Berberich, and Sarah Biesenthal.  Even though they did not make the score sheet, Lauren McLean and Katrina Wyatt played an outstanding game on defence and started many of the offensive rushes.  Great game between the pipes for Micaela Stutzki.
