Ya win some - Ya lose some !
After 2 games on the weekend - RKS Bantam girls came away with a win and a loss
Friday night the girls travelled to Port Elgin where we played a great game. Both teams were evenly matched and although Walkerton came away with the win - Port Elgin was still a force to be reckoned with. Emily D (2), Nellie S. and Hayley T. mangaged to blow 4 goals past the keeper while Port Elgin was only able to get by Walkerton twice ! Way to go girls - it was a great game to watch.
Saturday was a road trip to Meaford where the girls played a fantastic defensive game. They kept the game scoreless until the 3rd period. Walkerton Goalie Bri deflected shot after shot frustrating the Meaford girls - taking one of their players to the penalty box no less than 3 times !!
Many attempts at the Meaford end didn't prove fruitful but it wasn't for lack of effort. Great job girls - it was an exiting game from start to finish.
