RKS Loses to Wiarton
A valliant effort by the RKS Bantam Girls HL
A trip to the Wiarton arena didn't prove fruitful for the girls but it wasn't for lack of trying. The girls kept it scoreless in the first period but couldn't hold on to it. Brianna D. was outstanding in net - deflecting numerous shots ! Our defence was working their hearts out but to no avail. Emily D. was not about to be pushed around and managed to circumvent a number of shots on net- giving our goalie a helping hand. Unfortunately, the many scrambles at the net resulted in goals against - some lucky - some earned.
Hayley T. and Nikki L. had a couple of good break aways but just couldn't quite make 'em count.
Tough loss but job well done...
