Knights of Columbus Atom Girls Show Woodstock What they Have
Our Atom B girls are taking Woodstock by storm.
Our Girls have traveled to Woodstock and are going for the gold!
First game on Friday afternoon the girls came out with their skates blazing, and scored 2 right off the top in the first, both by Nicole. They held the team to 2-0 until late in the third, when Cambridge managed to slip one past Claire. Walkerton rallied together tho, and avoided the tie, ending the game in a 2-1 win!
Second game on Friday the girls came out and played hard. Every one of the girls played hard, and they held their own, but none of them were able to beat the other goalie. Claire kept them out of our net as well, leaving the game in a 0-0 tie.
An afternoon game on Saturday found the girls up against North Halton. Our girls came out to win, and win big, and they delivered. Hope scored one goal, and Nicole followed up with 2, making it a 3-0 win, and a guaranteed place in the finals.
The girls locked horns with Woodstock in an evening game on Saturday, and they played an amazing game. Every girl played her position, but could not beat the Woodstock goalie. Woodstock managed to squeak one past Claire in the third, and our girls did their best to even the score, but could not beat the goalie. They will meet Woodstock in the finals, and this time they'll win!
