Atom B Girls vs Saugeen Shores Janurary 3 2010
Atom B girls came out to play for the second day in a row, showing Saugeen Shores that they are tough competition.
The girls were ready to rock for a morning, rescheduled game. They came out blazing, with Ally B stunning the Saugeen Shores goalie early in the first, off a pass from Hope D and Bailey T. Courtney B went in next, with a pass from Jordenne V and Georgina M. Next it was Bailey T's turn, with a pass from Hope D and Ally B. The girls weren't done yet! Hope D went in alone to get an unassisted goal with 49 seconds left in the first, ending the period at 4-0 for Walkerton.
The second period proved to be just as busy, with Courtney W starting it off with a blazer from the blue line, assisted by Ally B. Next Krista K slapped it in, assisted by Ally B and Nicole M. Then Sophie B and Georgina M teamed up for goal and assist, followed quickly by Nicole M, assisted by Ally and Bailey. Ending the third period 8-0 for Walkerton.
Sophie B started things off in the third, with her second of the day, assisted by Courtney B and Bailey. Not to be outdone, Nicole M scored her second of the game, helped by Georgina and Krista. Bailey followed that with her second of the game! assisted by Hope and Courtney B. Finishing up the scoring for the game, Jordenne passed out to Georgina M who got her first goal of the year, and ending the game in a 12-0 score for Walkerton.
Claire W was stellar in net, and continues to attain the shut outs that our team needs!!!
