CMR Bantam LL Wins Normanby Tournament
Holey, Moley...Whatta GOALIE !!! Jonah Hudson lets 1 goal out of 78 shots for the day allowing CMR Bantam LL to claim the victory in the Normanby Tournament. For their 1st match up, the boys played against St. George (last year's champs) and shut them down 4-0. CMR swept another 4-0 victory over Mildmay for their second game. In the championship game against Woolwich, the boys played like a well oiled machine leading 4-0 going into the 2nd period. Chase Louther earned a hat trick and Woolwich were able to slip one past Hudson. The game ended with a score of 5-1. Strong defensive skills of Engel, Paulitzki, Tilson and Davidson were key in assisting Hudson between the pipes. Our forward offensive team of Wagner, Petteplace, Flett, Sargeant, Louther, Murray, Wilkin and Hamilton pelted the other teams with shots all day, making for a great day of hockey for their fans. Way to go boys!!!!!
