McIntee Atoms play scrooge to Kincardine
The McIntee atom Rep team played their rivals from Kincardine on Friday Dec. 18 and defeated their opponents 4-1.
Carter Buehlow scored the first goal of the game at 4:08 of the first period. After Kincardine tied the score in the second period, the home team scored three unanswered goals in the third to take the win. Goal scorers in this frame were: Jake Spitzig, Buehlow and Noah Leslie. Credited with assists in the game were: Calvin Wilson (3), and Christopher Cormack (3).
After a Christmas party on the 19th, the boys will play next against Teeswater in an exhibition game during the Olympic Torch celebration on Dec. 28 at 9:30.
