Winning Streak Continues
Langs came out strong at home against Howick/Wallace on January 25, 2009 with a 4-3 win.
Kyla Johnston got Langs fired up quick into the first with an unassisted goal as she deked around Howick's defense. At the end of the first Zera Murphy was in perfect position to tip one in on assist from Jill Pitt and Erin Neil. Langs had lots of chances before finally putting another one through the pipes early in the third, with Alison Elphick taking the shot assisted by Leticia Barber. Howick determined to stay in the game scored with 8 minutes to go. Langs bounced back with Neil finding the net assisted by Gab Lehman and Alyson Spitzig. Howick responded with two more goals, but Langs managed to hold on for the win. Final score 4-3 Langs continuing the 3 game winning streak. Langs next game is Sunday Feb 1 in Ripley.
