Wightman Atom Girls win Another!
Wightman traveled to Port Elgin to play a make up game against Saugeen Shores on Saturday, March 1. What a game it was!
Our girls were fresh off a win in Durham from last weekend, and hungry for more. They did not disappoint the crowd!
Face off was at 12:30 in the Port Elgin Arena. Our girls came out strong, digging like they do. They kept the play down in Saugeen's end, and kept their goalie busy! Bailey T passed out to Krista K, for a score, and then Krista returned the favor, passing to Bailey for the second goal of the game! Way to work ladies!
As always Charlene "Pippi' S was solid between the pipes, getting herself another shut out! Digging in on defense were Ally B, Georgina M, Moira R, and Vicky S. And doing a fabulous job keeping the Saugeen Shore's goalie on her toes were Bailey T, Krista K, Courtney B, Dana B, Sophie B, Samantha H, and Brooklyn S. Great team work ladies, you are playing like we knew you could!!
