Prestige VS Ripley
Prestige travelled to Ripley on Saturday to defeat them in a 3-2 win. It was a well played defensive game. Prestige took the lead in the first with a breakaway goal by Nicolas Fairminer. In the second Stephaine Young passed the puck to Jacob Regier to put Prestige 2 up. The third period was a nail bitting intense period. Ripley scoring again to keep it close. But our fast forwards of Keaton Holm, Ryan Girdler and Austin Hogg kept the puck in the Ripley zone. With only 2:48 minutes left in the third Emily Elliot got a slashing penalty. Ripley then pulled their goalie giving them a 2 man advantage. But the excellent goal tending of Matthew Donnelly and the heavy defense of Jenna Fotheringham, Tanner Stuempfle and Christopher Quartarone held Ripley off.
