Cornerstone Starts the 08/09 Season
Well the first game is under the belts for young Cornerstone boys.. Playing a very tough and fast Prestige team from Walkerton the boys were in for a hard battle from the drop of the puck.
The score was not a good indicator of how the Cornerstone lads played , but if sweat and determination was the measure then the boys were the top of the league. From Joel Jones jumping in between the pipes to Clayton Troy driving to the net. All of the boys needed the well earned Slushie at the end of this game. This season is looking to be a good one for your Cornerstone boys.
At this time we would like to take this chance to invite everyone out on Nov 1 to see your Cornerstone boys challenge the Novices from Ripley at 10:00 a.m at the Walkerton Arena. The boys hope to see everyone there to cheer them on!!!!!
