Bantams Lose to Strong Listowel Team
The Walkerton Joy Source for Sports Bantam Rep team came in to Monday nights affair against the Listowel Cyclones sporting the top record in the standings and looking to hand Listowel its first loss of the year.

The boys started off the first period with a fury of action in Listowels end and were rewarded with 2 quick goals beofre the game was only 5 minutes old.  Their passes were crisp, the shots were hard, and the hits made Monday night football look like Dancing with the Stars which put Listowel back on its heels contemplating how to stop the bleeding.  Shortly after the second goal Listowel finally solved Cole Dales to get on the board.  The score remained 2-1 heading in to the second where midway through Listowel tallied again to knot the score at two heading in to the third.  In that final frame Listowel would tally 3 more times to make the final 5-2.  The Walkerton boys played hard throughout but ran out of gas near the end proving to the coaching staff that pucks may make a disappearing act in the practices to come.  Scoring for the Bantams were Patrick Walsh with a bullet that would make Al McInnis jealous and smoothy skating Zach Petteplace.  Assisting on the goals were Wendel Cameron and Patrick Walsh.
