Langs Shut-out Wingham 1-0
The Walkerton Langs girls HL team faced off Sunday Dec. 2 against Wingham and skated to a 1-0 win.
The girls were all over Wingham like a Bruce County snowstorm but couldn't get the puck in the net. Langs, equipped with a full roster out played the short-benched Wingham team. Finally, in the third period Leticia Barber slipped one past Wingham's goalie to win the game 1-0. Assists went to Leanne Dales and Christie Pitt. Shots on net were in favour of Langs and incredible 49-9. The teams current record is a respectable 5 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties. The girls will face off next on Tuesday Dec. 4, in Kurtzville(Wallace) at 8pm.
