Tim Horton Yellow Vs. Tim Horton Red (Another Great Day!)
This week our Tim Horton Yellow team faced a very familiar Tim Horton Red squad. These two teams go way back, almost to the beginning of the season. They know our strengths, we know theirs. They know our weaknesses, we recognize theirs. This was going to be a hard fought battle right from the drop of the puck. Coach Donnelly was even nervous as to how this game would go. After all, these games are for bragging rights at recesses all over the surrounding areas. The game as expected was exciting and close with end-to-end action throughout. We strongly recommend those with weak hearts not attend, as the pace will have your heart racing and you on the edge of your seat right from the drop of the puck. Having their game faces on this day and getting into the action was Paige Clark, along with Courtney Fritz. Crowd favourites (at least with their moms) and making great plays were Eryn Vaughan, Stephanie Young, Keegan Quish, Nat Illerbrunn. Matthew Donnelly, Jena Fotheringham and Ben Fleischauer all played strong defensively. Put this all together and happy faces were all that could be seen in the arena. Another great Saturday morning had begun.
