Friday January 18th Game #2
Goderich @ Walkerton, Loss 1 - 0 in OT
After a tough loss the prior day our McIntee Atom Boys were ready to play their hearts out, and play they did. It took OT before Goderich managed to get one past our goalie. This game was fast paced and action packed with both sides having chance after chance. Our Capital defense was stellar with Luke Zettel leading the way with Brandon Dales, Tyson MacLennan, and Kyle Vaughan following close behind. Our forwards pressed hard and gave the Goderich team fits as Justin Donnelly and Curtis Biesenthal threw themselves mercilessly at their defense. Matt Lang, Tyler Goetz, Bailey Zettler, Lucas Bester and Isaac Eliott also kept them spinning. When they did get a chance Ryan Bester was there to slam the door in their face. The next game is Monday night at 7:30 here in town. I’m sure they will be ready to go again. Best of Luck Boys.
