Vandenburg Slips One In by Jessica Dredge
The RKS Bantam Girls Hockey Team traveled to Howick on Monday January 7th. The girls played an awesome game but lost to Howick 3-1 . Goalie Reshay Sullivan was standing by strong and solid . Our defence players (Kelsey Miller, Brittany Gamble, Kristen Ruetz, and Claire Tomlinson) tried very hard to get the puck out of our end, but were over powered by the Howick team scoring two more goals . The first goal was late in the second period , the second goal followed right after that. In the second period Cosette Vandenberg fought past the Howick defence and scored the one and only goal Walkerton got that game. Way To Go! Near the end of the third period Howick managed to get one last goal.
