Legion Peewee Rep bows out to Goderich.
The Legion Peewee Rep Boys faced Goderich in their second round of WOAA playoffs.

Goderich came away with the first win on Feb 16, 2008, with Walkerton losing a close game on home ice. Goderich scored first in the first period. Legion’s Patrick Walsh tied it up early in the third, assisted by Paul Lindblad. Goderich came back quickly to score again for the lead. Walsh right back in there for the tie again, assisted by Mitchell Eckert and Cole Alexander. Late in the third Goderich slipped one past for the win. Walkerton’s next game in Goderich, on Feb 22, saw the Legion boys work hard for the win. Walsh started the scoring late in the first, assisted by Alexander and Josh Busby. Goderich scored a couple of minutes later to tie it. Early in the second period Goderich took the lead and held it until the last 30 seconds, when Busby found the net. Walkerton’s Walsh scored early in the third, assisted by Alexander, and Busby. After losing the flip the Legion boys were back in Goderich the next afternoon. They worked hard but were unable to come away with the needed win. Final score 7-1 for Goderich, our only goal scored by Busby. This puts the Legion Peewee Rep boys out of the playoffs.
