Win and Tie For BDO
Second 4-4 tie with Mt. Forest.....
BDO Midgets hosted Mt. Forest Dec.29th, Mark Ferguson started in net and played a solid game to earn his team a 4 all tie. Ryan Donnelly with 2 goals and 1 assists led the home team scoring. Justin Wright picked up 1 goal 2 assists, Ethan Kittle scored Walkertons 4th goal giving BDO a 4-3 lead into the 3rd. Ferguson stopped all but 1 of the 15 shots he faced in the 3rd period. If not for Marks great 3rd period performance the outcome would have been a loss. Mac Cassidy picked up two assists, single assists to Kyle Parks, Keith Anstett and Curtis Robson.
VICTORY OVER ARRAN-ELDERSLIE....
Jake Elliott started in net and earned a 4-1 victory. In a game that saw only 5 minor penalties BDO had a 3-1 lead headed for the break. Scott Sedlimeir scored twice and picked up an assist on Kyle Parks goal to lead the scoring. A Parks 3rd period goal assisted by Curtis Robson and Kory Lippert finished the scoring. Matt Zeigler 2 assists, Ethan Kittle and Mac Cassidy each earn 1 assist. Next home game Jan.27/08 vs Hanover 7:30 pm See ya at the rink!!!
