Successful regular season
The Walkerton Capitals PeeWee girls have finished their first regular season in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League. Expectations were high and the girls did not disappoint.

Expectations were high and the girls did not disappoint. After dropping the first game of the season to Mount Forest, the girls reeled off a record of 12-4-6. This was good for third place in the Southwest Division.

The high point of the season so far has been the St. Thomas Panthers tournament. The girls came home with gold, winning all four games and outscoring the opposition 17-1.

The girls are heading to Sarnia to compete in the International SilverStick tournament on Feb.4. There is a lot of pressure for the girls because the Walkerton PeeWee girls have come home with gold three years in a row. They face Lucan on Friday and Wilmont and Mount Forest on Saturday.

After the tournament girls will be looking forward to the start of their first round playoff series against the Twin Centers Hericanes.
