6 Game winning streak comes to an end.
The boys lost a nail biter to the undefeated Minto Maddogs 3 - 2. After putting together an impressive 6 game winning streak, it came down to the wire. With under a minute to play in the third, and the streak on the line, the Wightman novice boys gave the fans all they could handle. With the goalie out of the net, time winding down on the clock and the puck deep in the Maddogs end, the boys peppered the Minto goalie with shot after shot. Not quite able to catch a break and beat the goalie, the boys finally see their streak come to an end. Congratulations fellas on a great season so far and keep up the good work. Your coaches and parents are very proud and are anxiously awaiting the next game.
