McIntee Atoms win in Kincardine

On Sat. Jan 2nd, the McIntee Atom Rep team travelled to Kincardine. In spite of being short three regular players, the boys defeated the home team, 5-4.
After Kincardine opened a 2-0 lead, Christopher Cormack responded for the Walkerton boys, with Evan Visser getting the assist. The boys out-scored Kincardine 3-1 in the second period. Hunter Zettler had 2 goals and Evan Visser got his first of the game. Earning assists were: Cormack, Michael McAskill, Sam Lowry-Young and goalie Aiden Quish.
In the third, Visser's second goal of the game sealed the victory for the boys. Cormack and Curtis Al were credited with assists.
The team has 3 games remaining in their regular season, (one vs Goderich, and 2 vs Listowel) and a tournament in Durham on Jan. 9, before getting ready for the playoffs.
