Langs Lose Close One to Lucknow
With only 7 skaters, Langs never gave up against Lucknow, Sat. Feb.28th, despite a 3-1 loss.
The girls gave it their all the whole game, but Lucknow managed to find the net near the end of the first. The second period saw Langs fight back and show off their endurance. Lucknow managed to score once more in the third to see Langs down 2-0. Kyla Johnston however weaved around Lucknow's defense half way through the third and managed to put one past Lucknow's goalie. With under a minute left in the game Langs pulled their goalie hoping to tie up the game but unfortunately Lucknow scored an empty-netter with thirty seconds left. Credit goes out to all seven girls for working their hardest and goalie Reshay Sullivan, playing tough in net the entire game.
