Scoring Frenzy Gives Cuneo Yet Another Win
Although the Cuneo Atoms drove on roads that likely should have been closed to get to this game in Ripley, the weather did not dampen the Cuneo spirits; it lit a fire under them. Cuneo Atoms came on strong and just didn't let up until the final second of this game, leaving Ripley wondering what happened.

The Walkerton Cuneo Atoms had a fire lit under them during a late afternoon game in Ripley.  The team was ready on the ice from the first puck drop in the first until the final buzzer in the third.  This game gave goaltender, Calder Davidson his third shut out in a row and saw forward Cody Jones score his first goal in his hockey career.  The first period was set up by a fantastic pass from Jordan Dahms to Christopher Cormack, who gave Cuneo their first goal on the board; a few moment later he chalked up his second of the game which was assisted by Jacob Weber.  Two minutes later a pass from Chris to Cody had Cuneo ahead by three.  Ripley's goaltender trying with all his might to stop this Walkerton team.  Unfortunately for Ripley Walkerton Cuneos didn't let up in the second period either, by the end of the second period Walkerton chalked up another 4 goals two from Jacob Weber,  one from Jordan Dahms, and another from Chris Cormack.  With assists from AP Jordan Lang, Connor Johnson and MacKenzie McTeer.
Cuneo held their defences tight once again, with hard effective work from Brennan Wagner, AP Connor McTeer, Alex Lang and MacKenzie McTeer.  These boys played the positions tight and cool under pressure; not allowing too many shots to get near our goal tender Calder Davidson.
The third period saw a flurry of scoring leaving the game in the end at a 12, nothing score.  Cuneo racked up an additional 5 goals from a variety of players.  Goals by Connor Johnson, Jordan Lang, Chris Cormack, Jordan lang and MacKenzie McTeer; assisted by Connor McTeer and Connor Johnson.
A game very well executed, and played hard by the Walkerton Cuneo Atoms!!
