BDO Opens Playoffs
BDO Midget LL start playoffs with 2 victories......
Walkerton hosted Mt. Forest who finished 1st overall and came out with a 4-3 overtime win. Walkerton led 1-0 with 3mins remaining in the third period and than gave up 3 straight goals to trail 3-1 with a 1:40 remaining. Kyle Parks made the score 3-2 with the goalie out, assisted by Scott Sedlmeir and Mac Cassidy. Ethan Kittle tied the game with the goalie out with 14 seconds remaining to force overtime. Josh Elliott who opened the scoring in the 1st period finished off Mt. Forest when his point shot eluded the goalie and rolled over the line. Justin Wright earned the only assist on the overtime goal. Will Huemiller and Ryan Donnelly also picked up pionts through the game. Mark Ferguson earned the win with another stronge outting.
