Midget Girls LL - Great Goaltending Keeps Langs Winning
Submitted By Sharon Kramer-Dales on Sunday, January 15, 2012
The terrific goaltenders for Langs Capitals have been outstanding in net!

Lang’s General Contracting Capitals Midget Girls team started the New Year off right as they continued with their winning season.  On January 12, they hosted Normanby to a game that saw lots of action.  Bri Dietz was strong in net and held off Normandy until the dying seconds of the first period, when they finally slipped one by her.  The team rallied and in the final minute of the second period, Nikki Lemont passed to Katrina Hodgins to even the score.  Lang’s Capitals continued to put the pressure on Normanby and finally broke the tie in the third when Marisa Dales scored on a pass from Hayley Thede.  Langs won by a score of 2 to1.  January 15 saw Lang’s Capitals travel to Goderich to play an exhibition game.  Langs had some good chances throughout the game.  Reshay Sullivan was goalie for this game and stood on her head to keep the puck out of her net.  The game remained scoreless until the end of the third when a shot from the point by Ashlee Cameron put Langs ahead.  The girls held on for a 1-0 win.
