Bantam Rep - Dec 19th vs. Mt. Forest Win 3-2
Submitted By Ken Vaughan on Monday, December 19, 2011
The spirit of Christmas was in the air tonight as the boys were in a giving mood as Mt. Forest paid a visit to our barn.

Yes generosity was key as our boys gave Mt. Forest some trips, high sticks, hooks the odd interference and charge, along with some roughing and misconducts for wishing the other team "Happy Holidays".  Mt Forest obliged and brought a number of presents for our boys as well, and an old time hockey game was played with everyone in a festive mood.  Mt Forest opened the scoring on the first shift as our boys were still in the dressing room wrapping their knuckles in tinsel.  Later on in the period they scored again while our boys were off spiking the eggnog.  However shortly after that we were finished with party preparations and settled down to playing some hockey.  At the 11:39 mark Matt Lang netted our first on a nice passing play from Tyler Goetz and Jackson Stark.  Then at the 6 minute mark Curtis Biesenthal got one from Bailey Zettler and Liam Robertson to tie the game at 2.  During the second period the boys pretty much exchanged pleasantries and no further scoring occurred until the 3rd when Tyson MacLennan netted the game winner from Brayden Davidson and Jackson Stark.  The boys asked me to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and will see you soon at the Silver Stick.  Look out Tavistock/Hanover and Kincardine as we'll bring the spirit of giving to you soon!!!
